100th pylon for BARD Offshore 1 wind park 19.08.2009
On the 19th of August, Marketex shipped the 100th pylon of three-piles for Bard Offshore 1 wind park. The manufacturing of such pylons was started last August. 12 pieces per month were manufactured. Three-pile, which is the basis of wind turbine, consists of three pylons. It has been sent 7200 tons of metal structures to the customer for the year 2009.
4 halls of workshop were reequipped and 190 people were involved for production needs. For welding were used both automatic welding and welding in console, getting almost 0 % of rejects. The dimensions of one pylon are 12 x 3.5 x 5.5 m, weight 72 tons, material width – 70 mm. These metal structures will be installed in the Northern Sea 40 km offshore.
